<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize bins effectively in a paper output device that has a plurality of bins and alters the output destination of paper every job. SOLUTION: If the sheets of paper outputted at one job are less than N (NO at #203), the output destination of paper is made into a specific bin (an output bin of predetermined sheets or less) in the job. Also, if the output sheets of job exceed N, the output destination of paper is altered every job (#205-217). In this manner, a job having small sheets of output never occupies one bin, so that bins are prevented from being filled up with paper soon.</p> |
