<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply antibacterial property to an egg storage tray to prevent bacteria attaching to eggs from propagating. SOLUTION: The egg storage tray A includes numerous egg receiving recesses 1 which are arranged in a plurality of lines while being individually sectioned by bulkheads 2 and trapezoidal protrusions 3 formed at intersections of the bulkheads 2 sectioning the egg receiving recesses 1, wherein a bottom of the egg storage recess 1 is mounted on an upper face of the trapezoidal protrusion 3 thereby allowing the trays to be stacked in a plurality of stages with eggs received. The tray A is formed of a polyethylene terephthalate resin sheet with a ceramic-based antibacterial agent kneaded which mainly contains a ceramic such as silica or alumina with silver and titanium oxide adsorbed.</p> |
