PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reagent suitable for measuring the concentration of a test specimen in a biological fluid containing hemoglobin such as whole blood. SOLUTION: This reagent comprises (a) a dehydrogenase enzyme having specificity to a test specimen, (b) NAD, an NAD derivative, pyrroloquinolinequinone(PQQ) or a PQQ derivative, (c) a tetrazolium pigment precursor, (d) a diaphorase enzyme or its analog and (e) a nitrite. |
