<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framework structure for hip roof and its construction method which permit accurate and easy assembling of the roof. SOLUTION: A plurality of triangular roof trusses each constituted of a bottom chord member and a top chord member are erected in parallel to each other, a ridge beam is erected between the tops of respective roof trusses, the bottom chord member is supported by eaves girders parallel to the ridge beam, thereby creating a framework construction comprising roof trusses located at the end portions of gable direction, hip rafters, eaves girders, rafters all used for building the hip roof structure. Therefore, a plurality of ceiling joists 30 are erected in parallel between the bottom chord member 22 of the roof truss 21 located at the end portion in gable direction and a eaves girder 12 located at a right angle with the longitudinal direction the ridge, eaves girders 6, 12 arranged in two directions are alternately extended from two eaves corners 14 to the top of the roof truss 21 thereby erecting a hip rafter 31 as a single member, and the hip roof is constructed with the eaves girder 12 arranged at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the ridge beam 24, and roof rafters installed between the hip rafters 31 and the top portion 27 of the girder roof truss 21.</p> |
