SOLUTION: In a golf ball, a parting line 2 is set at a latitude of 0 deg. and each pole part 3 is set at a latitude of 90 deg.. The ranges from a latitude of 0 deg. to 17 deg. inclusive are set as near-parting-line ranges P and the ranges from a latitude of greater than 17 deg. to less than 62 deg. are set as shoulder parts Q. The ranges from a latitude of 62 deg. to 90 deg. inclusive are set as near-pole ranges R. When the total volume of dimples 4 belonging to the near-parting-line ranges P is X and the total volume of dimples 4 belonging to the near-pole ranges R is Y and the total volume of dimples 4 belonging to the shoulder parts Q is Z, then X/Z is set at 0.58 to 0.72 and Y/Z is set at 0.22 to 0.30. Also, Y/X is set at 0.35 to 0.48.</p> |
