PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacture of a heat retaining tube to manufacture the tube at a continuous process by forming a fin part simultaneously with covering a cylindrical heat insulation material with a skin. SOLUTION: Manufacture of a heat retaining tube comprises a first process wherein a long synthetic resin foamed sheet is deformed in the direction of width as it is transferred in a longitudinal direction to form the sheet in a cylindrical shape and edges are adhered together to mold a cylindrical heat insulation material 11; a second process wherein the cylindrical heat insulation material 11 is introduced in a mold 41 connected to an extruder 4, the surface of the cylindrical resin material is covered with molten thermoplastic resin fed in the mold 41 through the extruder 4 and a fin part 13 suspending from the lower part of the cylindrical heat insulation material 11; and a third process wherein an adhesive tape 6 having an adhesion layer 61 formed on one surface of a mold release sheet is fed to one surface of the fin part 13 and stuck on one surface of a mold release sheet togetherwith the mold release sheet, and the cylindrical heat insulation material 11 in the vicinity of the fin part on the side where the adhesive tape 6 is stuck is cut in a longitudinal direction. The first, second, and third processes are continuously carried out.
