PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank device which can reduce the restoring pressure of the float of a vent valve in a simple structure and a small cost rise. SOLUTION: In a fuel tank device, the other end of a vent pipe 6 whose one end is connected to a caniseter 5 is faced to the inside of a fuel tank 1, a vent cut valve 9 is connected to the other end of an vent pipe 6, a differential pressure regulating valve 7 is provided on the way of the vent pipe 6, the other end of the evaporation pipe 10 whose one end is connected to the canister 6 through the downstream side of the vent pipe 6 is faced to the inside of the fuel tank 1, an evaporation cut valve 11 is connected to the other end of the evaporation pipe 10, and a check valve 12 is provided on the way of the evaporation pipe 10. In such a fuel tank device, the evaporation pipe 10 at the evaporation cut valve 11 side closer than from the check valve 12, and the vent pipe 6 at the vent cut valve 9 side closer than from the differential pressure regulating valve 7, are communicated through a bypass pipe 21.
