PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge structure capable of coping with roofs of various slopes and keeping its strength. SOLUTION: An elevational surface 10 is given to a support member 1, a device placement recess part 13a opening upward is defined on the upper periphery of the elevation surface 10, cleat member-contact recess parts 13b, 13b opening outward are formed at both the left and right side lower positions of the elevational surface 10, a fixture surface 12 being bent at right angles substantially from the elevational surface 10 is made at the lower periphery of the elevational surface 10, and the cleat member-contact recess parts 13b, 13b at both the left and right side of the support member 1 are fitted in cleats 2, 2 at predetermined distances so as to fasten the support members 1, 1 to the cleat members 2, 2. Then, the support member 1 is mounted o the ridge part in a manner allowing its fixture surface 12 to come across the adjacent roof surface, a cramping piece 4 is driven into the fixture surface 12 to be fixed to the substrate member A, the cleat members 2 are crossed over the cleat member placement recess parts 13a, 13a of support members 1, 1 being adjacent to each other to form a ridge substrate B, and the ridge substrate B is covered with a ridge cover 3.
