PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the price of a barrel-form steel pipe by arranging ordinary structural steel materials as hoops at every appropriate distance or arranging them to form a spiral and attaching an ordinary structural steel material to the inside or the outside of the hoops to shape a cylindrical barrel form. SOLUTION: Hoops 1 made of an endless structural steel material having a certain diameter or a side length are arranged at every appropriate distance or in a spiral form. Shell plates 2 such as flat bars are attached to the outside or the inside of the hoops having appropriate distances or a spiral form to make a barreled and cylindrical steel pipe. In the attaching ways of the shell plates, the shell plates 2 are attached without any gap between them or they are attached with a gap between respective plates as a framed reinforced concrete structure to prevent separation. Accordingly, a completely integral structure with concrete can be obtained.
