PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by screwing a pile body provided with blades at least at the front end or in the vicinity of the front end into the ground and charging surplus soil of construction works into the pile body. SOLUTION: Blades 10 are attached to the front end of a pile body 2 having a hollow circular section such as a steel pipe pile or a concrete pile to constitute a screwed pile 1. In this time, a nearly V-shaped fitting part extending from the lower end of one of level difference parts bisected at the front end of the pile body 2 for instance to the upper end of the other level difference is provided and the other level difference part is formed likewise, and tabular semicircular steel blades having a larger diameter than the pile body 2 are welded to respective level difference parts to form the blades 10. On piling, a rotary force is given to the pile body 2 to press it down. After the pile has been penetrated into the ground by the screwing action of the blades 10, surplus soil 23 form construction works is charged in the pile body 2. When necessary, the surplus soil 23 in the pile body 2 is compacted or a hardening fluid is mixed with the surplus soil 23 and the mixture is charged in the pile body. In this way, surplus soil can greatly be reduced and the cost can be decreased and further, the rigidity of the pile body can be improved.
