PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing upper cover and an air-seal thereof capable of improving the conventional packed drain casing upper cover, having the air-seal mechanism and completely preventing damages in them without giving excessive vibration or impact to transmitter/receiver and the like. SOLUTION: A casing upper cover 2 is formed in the shape of a collar cap, a ring-shaped air reservoir groove 7 equipped with an air-pressure inlet 4 to the lower surface of a collar section 6 of the upper cover 2 is recessed, and an expansion flexible sheet 9 is spread on the lower surface of the collar section 6 over the whole surface. Air is pumped into the air-reservoir groove 7, the sheet 9 is expanded down to the below and is bound to the upper surface of a flange 3 of a casing head section, and the casing head section and casing upper cover 2 are sealed by air.
