PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a textile fabric having a refreshing feeling with sufficient durability and a soft touch feeling and suitable for dress shirts, etc., by applying a treating agent comprising specific microcapsules and a binder to a textile fabric and bonding the microcapsules to the textile fabric with the binder. SOLUTION: A treating agent comprising microcapsules prepared by enclosing a peppermint oil and/or l-menthol in one or more organic resins selected from polystyrene, ethyl cellulose, polyamide, polyacrylic acid, melamine and silicone- based resins as a wall material and a binder which is a vinylcarboxylic acid monomer and/or a vinylsulfonic acid monomer and a divinyl monomer represented by formula I [X is H or CH3; (n) is 9-23] and/or formula II [(m)+(n)] is 10-30} is applied to a textile fabric and the microcapsules are bonded to the textile fabric with the binder to produce a textile fabric. The resultant textile fabric is preferably used for any of dress shirts, inners or leg knits.
