PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter able to perform an accurate steering operation for row adjusting by simplifying the operation of turning at a butt. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is controlled as follows: a seedling transplanting apparatus is ascended to the upper limit accompanying the shifting operation of a planting clutch C by a steering operation or the operation of a switch-lever 32; at the same time, the seedling transplanting apparatus is descended to the level for performing automatic elevation control when marker- switches 37 and 38 detect the operation for switching any of the right and left line markers to the acting posture in the elevated state; and the line marker is shifted to the acting posture to perform the on-operation.
