PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of exhaust of an air bag device and miniaturize an inflator so as to reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: An air bag 2 is folded in petal shape by winding four lug parts 12 around a front face part 11, and a gas exhaust port 2c is formed on the back face side of the lug part 12. When gas flows into the air bag 2 from an inflator, the air bag is inflated while the wound and folded lug parts 12 are rotated. At this time, the gas exhaust port 2c is rotated together with the lug part 12 and moved larger than the other parts of the air bag 2, so that gas exhausted from the gas exhaust port 2c is dispersed in a wide range to suppress the influence of gas. A gas cooling means can therefore be simplified, and the inflator is miniaturized, or structure is simplified to reduce manufacturing cost.
