PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet sizing device and a method thereby for efficiently sizing into coarse particle and fine particle from slurry. SOLUTION: A frame body 1 having a slurry camber 20, where the slurry containing the fine particle and the coarse particle is supplied, a net like body 3 penetrating only the fine particle without penetrating coarse particle and a plate body 2 adjacent to the frame body 1 through the net like body 3 and having a sizing camber 21, where the fine particle flows-in from the slurry chamber through the net like body and is discharged, are provided. As a result, by stopping the supply of the slurry to the slurry chamber, fluid for discharging the coarse particle is supplied to the frame body slurry chamber from the sizing chamber through the net like body to make the coarse particle in the slurry chamber to flow-out to the outside.
