SOLUTION: A water passing joint from a cassette tank 8 to a vaporization room is opened and closed with a valve according to the operation of the steam operating button 41. Further, the steam operating button 41 is integrally provided with a display unit 92 to display the setting condition of the steam operating button 41. Thereby, the number of component parts itself does not increase even when a display band 50 of the display unit 92 is provided at an easily visible position of the iron body 1 other than the steam operating button 41.
