摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the increase in the power load of a rotary shaft by a simple structure and to improve the crushing efficiency of materials to be mixed without deteriorating mixing performance by arranging an agitation member and a flow direction changing member in the rotational diameter direction to a rotary shaft outer circumferential part at a distance from a container inner circumferential part. SOLUTION: In a container 2 in which materials to be mixed are placed of a horizontal mixer 1, a rotary shaft 3 is supported at both ends at the center of a horizontal shaft concentric with the shaft of a container main body 2a. Numbers of agitation members 4 are arranged to be rotated in the arrow direction 100 together with the shaft 3. Each agitation member 4 forms an agitation surface in which the surface of a front wall and the surface 4b' of a sidewall make the materials to be mixed flow toward the peripheral part 3' of the shaft 3. Numbers of flow direction changing members 7 are arranged to be rotated together with the shaft 3, and flow direction changing surfaces 7d' are formed in these to change the flow direction of the materials to be mixed which are made to flow by each agitation member 4 from the members 7 to the inner circumferential part 2a' of the container 2.
