PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move the hips and the leg joints of a doll as naturally as a human when opening them right/left or front/rear. SOLUTION: This hip/leg moving structure for a doll with movable joints consists of a crotch member 11, left and right hipbone members 18 and 19, and left and right leg joint members 30 and 40. The crotch member 11 is of a partition wall type, and attached to the bottom of the doll. The hipbone members 18 and 19 are rotatably attached to the crotch member 11, and the leg joint members 30 and 40 are attached to the spaces 23 and 27 formed in the hipbone members 18 and 19 respectively. The leg joint members 30, 40 have engagement protrusions 33, 43 respectively to be inserted into engagement dents 22, 26 formed in the parts of the hipbone members 18, 19 corresponding to the muscles gluteus maximus, and also have first joint pieces 31, 41, and second joint pieces 35 and 45 for connecting legs. The first joint pieces 31, 41 are rotatable for the hipbone members 18, 19 respectively so that the left and right legs 6, 7 can be opened sideways. The second joint pieces 35, 45 are integrally connected to the first joint pieces 31, 41 respectively by way of protruding shafts 34, 44 in the surface contact condition, and are rotatable for the first joint pieces 31, 41 so that the left and right legs 6, 7 can be raised in the front direction.
