PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leaking of a fire extinguisher even if the internal pressure of a fire extinguisher storage chamber builds up when the fire extinguisher is reinforced. SOLUTION: Packing for an impulse extinguish gun has at the front of a cylindrical gun main body a radial cutout part closed by elastic restoring action. A fire extinguisher is stored in a fire extinguisher storage chamber, and when pressure is applied to the fire extinguisher storage chamber, the cutout part is opened by the pressure against the elastic restoring action to eject the fire extinguisher in the fire extinguisher storage chamber. The packing 4 comprises a front layer 10a and a back layer 10b along its cross direction and the cutout part 11a of the front layer 10a and the cutout part 11 b of the back layer 10b are formed to deviate circumferentially from each other.
