PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin foamed sheet which is light, has excellent flexibility, dimensional stability, heat resistance, shapability, and a large recovery factor after compression, and is useful as a material for car interior by dispersing a specific liquid crystal resin into a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: This foamed sheet is obtained by dispersing (B) a fibroid liquid crystal resin into (A) a thermoplastic resin, followed by foaming at an expansion factor or 2-15, with component B which was oriented within±15 deg. to the direction of the depth in the sheet being 75-100 wt.%. It is preferable that a recovery factor to a compressed amount of displacement upon releasing after applying a compression distortion of 50% to the sheet to the direction of the thickness is 70-100%. It is preferable to use, for component A, for example, an olefin-based resin, a styrene-based resin, or a copolymer of these. It is preferable that the melt index is 0.1-20 g/10 min.
