PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of crease in the boundary between a chafer rubber and a side wall rubber by constituting the boundary of the chafer rubber to the tire outer surface so as to form a gentle curve, and setting the exposed surface height from a bead base line to a specified times the flange height. SOLUTION: A chafer rubber 9 is extended radially outward from the radial inside of a bead core 5 in contact with a play folded part 6B to form a contact surface with a rim by its exposed surface 9S, and also adjacent to a soft side wall rubber 10 forming a side wall part 3. The boundary 11 between the chafer rubber 9 and the side wall rubber 10 forms a gentle curve extending from the carcass 6 to the tire outer surface with a radially inward inclination. The exposed height L4 of the outer end P2 of the exposed surface 9S from bead base line BL is desirably set to 1.2-2.5 times the height L5 of a rim flange Jf from the bead base line BL. |
