PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effective use resources and to contribute to prevention of damage to natural environment by reducing the capacity ratio of a PET bottle, improving the transporting efficiency in recovering, simplifying the post-processing process in a recycle plant, and smoothing and activating recycling. SOLUTION: A used PET bottle 8 is inserted between guide plates 5, 5, a pusher 6 is lowered, and the PET bottle 8 passes between the guide plates 5, 5 and pressed between a pair of rotary cutters 4. In the rotary cutters 4, a plurality of disc-shaped blades 3, 3,... are arranged at an appropriate distances, the blades are engaged with each other and rotationally driven in the directions of arrows A, B, and therefore, the PET bottle 8 is pinched between the blades, cut in the sectional cutting direction into a plurality of cut pieces of PET bottle main bodies 9, 9,..., labels 10, 10,... and cap parts 11, dropped, and housed in a specified container. |
