PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for discharging grains for a combine harvester without wearing out a transverse auger and an auger receiver when manually overhanging and/or manually housing a grain discharging auger. SOLUTION: This apparatus for discharging grains is provided with a constitution for installing an auger receiving switch 41 capable of detecting the approach and sitting of a transverse auger 12 on an auger receiver 40 in the auger receiver 40 for housing and supporting the transverse auger 12 of a grain discharging auger 10 and performing the control so as to stop stretching operation of the transverse auger 12 when the auger receiving switch 41 is ON. When the auger receiving switch 41 arranged in the auger receiver 40 detects the approach and sitting of the transverse auger 12, the stretching operation is stopped even if the stretching operation is manually performed. Thereby, the friction of the transverse auger 12 with a cushioning material such as rubber applied to the auger receiver 40 and wearing out of the cushioning material can completely be prevented and no excessive load is applied to an auger stretching mechanism 51, an auger stretching motor 50, etc., by friction of the transverse auger 12 with the rubber, etc., of the auger receiver 40. As a result, the wearing out and breakage of the members can be prevented.
