PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the washing method of a heat exchanger or especially deposited matter on a heat exchanging pipe penetrated through the pipe floor of the heat exchanger for a nuclear facility with a simple means as well as a device and a vessel for collecting a deposited matter from the heat exchanging pipe. SOLUTION: A common collecting vessel 26 is mounted from the lower side of a pipe floor 8 so as to cover the range of heat exchanging pipes 12, 12A of a heat exchanger 2 to collect a deposited matter from a plurality of heat exchanging pipes 12, 12A into the vessel 26 without changing the position of the collecting vessel 26. The lower side of the pipe floor 8 on which the pipe ends 14 of an outlet port side are arranged, is surrounded perfectly by the receiving port 28 of the collecting vessel 26. The collecting vessel 26 is equipped with a hose 34, capable of being inflated around the receiving port 28, for the sealing of the same. The collecting vessel 26 is formed foldably so as to be capable of being inserted into the heat exchanger 2 through an opening 6 for inspection.
