<p>PURPOSE:To make a reduction of pressure loss compatible with the suppression of blow off without enlarging a filter for collection of fine particles, and also, secure the regeneration with an inexpensive opening and closing valve. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust passage 10 is divided into two, and filters 13 and 23 fitted with electric heaters 14 and 24, orifices 17 and 27 for bypassing the filters 13 and 23, in parallel with the filters 13 and 23, and opening and closing valves 18 and 28, in series wit the filters 13 and 23 and the orifices 17 and 27, are provided inside each divided passage 11 and 21. And, at regeneration of, for example, the filter 13, the opening and closing valve 18 on the divided passage 11 on the side of the filter 13 is closed, and also the heater of the filter 13 is supplied with current.</p> |
