PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure caused by ink including bubbles by removing the ink including the bubbles from an ink supplying pipe. SOLUTION: An ink tank 1 possesses an ink introducing outlet 2. The ink tank 1 is connected to an ink jet recorder such that a needle-shaped ink receiving hole 11 is inserted into the ink introducing outlet 2. A throw away tube 12 to be connected to a waste ink absorbing body 5 of the ink tank 1 and a supplying tube 13 connected to an ink jet recording head 15 are connected to the ink receiving hole 11. An exchanging valve 17 that closes the supplying tube 13 before the in tank is connected and closes the throw away tube 12 when the ink tank 1 is connected, is provided in the vicinity of the receiving hole 11. |
