PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent capable of expressing excellent curing effects for sex hormone-dependent diseases such as prostatic cancer or the like by bringing the agent to contain a specific aminobenzimidazole derivative. SOLUTION: This antagonist for gonadotrophic hormone-releasing hormone is a compound expressed by formula I [the ring A is a (substituted)phenyl: the ring B is a (substituted)cyclic group; R4 and R6 are each H, a 2-6 alkenyl or the like; R5 is H, a halogen or the like; X is a direct bond or the like; Y is CO or the like] or its pharmaceutically allowable salt [e.g. 2-(4- methoxyphenyl)-5-(4pyrrolidinobenzoyl)aminobenzimidazole, etc.]. The compound of formula I is obtained, by reacting, e.g. a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III (L1 is an eliminable group). As the dose of the agent, when it is used for preventing or curing sex hormone-dependent diseases, preferably 0.1-approximately 100 mg as the effective ingredient per 1 kg body weight of mammals is administered, usually once or divided into forth times a day.
