PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform execution in a steep curve, SOLUTION: A shield machine has a shielding main body 10, a cutter 12, a chamber 14, a soil and sand-carrying screw conveyor 16, a rotary pump 18 and soil and sand-carrying pipe 20. The rotary pump 18 communicates and is connected through the inside of the chamber 14 and the short soil and sand- carrying screw conveyor 16. The piping 20 communicates with and is connected to the discharge outlet of the rotary pump 18, extends to the rearward of a hollowing truck 28, and the rear end is released.
