PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle to move backward or forward in a state where it is floating on the surface by arranging floats at left and right sides of the vehicle and actuating an engine. SOLUTION: A right foot float 13 and a left foot float 14 are arranged at left and right sides of a body. By means of right foot supporting members 15 and left foot supporting members, these floats 13, 14 are supported at the lower portion of the vehicle body in such a state that they extend in the lateral direction. Both the right foot float 13 and the left foot float 14 comprise float boards 17, 18, upper floats 19, 20 maintained at an inflated condition, and lower floats 21, 22. For operating a floating vehicle having such structure, a user or an operator activates an engine, thereby paddles fixed around a rear wheel 3 of the vehicle rotate while pushing water. The rotation of the paddles generates a thrust to the vehicle body and moves the vehicle backward or forward.
