PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the gradient amplifier of a nucleus spin tomograph with comparatively inexpensive expenditure, which is provided with sufficiently high precision for evading a disturbance to be worked on an image. SOLUTION: The gradient amplifier is provided with a target value device 10 for setting a target value SO, an actual value device 12 for obtaining an actual value IW, an adjusting device 14 for obtaining an operation value ST in connection with the target value SO and the actual value IW, a modulator 16 for generating at least one final stage driving signal Ai in connection with the operation value ST and a final stage 18 for generating an output signal AS to be given to at least one load 24 in connection with at least one final stage driving signal Ai. Precision in the target value SO and the actual value IW is selected to be ten times higher than that in the operation value ST, at least one final driving signal Ai and/or the output signal AS.
