PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeatedly use even a fire extinguisher consisting of powder/grain and enhance controllability by making it easy to install and remove a fire extinguisher cartridge. SOLUTION: In an impulse extinguish gun storing a fire extinguisher consisting of powder/grain in a cylindrical gun main body 1 and ejecting the fire extinguisher from the front of the gun main body by means of pressure, a cylindrical fire extinguisher cartridge 10 having the fire extinguisher sealed therein by means of packing 12 having radial cutout parts 14 at its front and rear ends that are closed by elastic restoring action is freely removably enclosed in the gun main body 1, and when pressure is applied to the inside of the gun main body 1, the cutout parts 14 of the packing 12 are opened by the pressure against the elastic restoring action, thus ejecting the fire extinguisher from the fire extinguisher cartridge 10.
