PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt buckle that allows its slider to be moved by some centimeters or to slack the belt accordingly simply when stop pins are depressed while the hook is kept locked. SOLUTION: A buckle body 2 has a fitting recess 2a with one side left opening. Stop pins 2c are movable into or out of the fitting recess 2a to force respective stop arms 4b in or out accordingly. A slider 4 having a belt locking part to which one end of a belt is secured is placed within the fitting recess 2a for horizontal sliding motion.
