PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working property and working efficiency in rolling up a rolled seedling and to solve a trouble of breaking the parts of leaves and stems in forming the rolled seedling by rolling up a belt-shaped seedling. SOLUTION: This rolled seedling is obtained by laying a stand-regulating sheet S for regulating the standing of the fallen down leaves and stems on the upper surface of the belt-shaped seedling, and rolling up the stand-regulating sheet S together with the belt-shaped seedling in forming the rolled seedling 1 by rolling the belt-shaped seedling 2 in a state that the leaves and stems are falling down. Also, in the planting part 6 for transplanting the rolled seedling 1, a sheet recovering device (a seedling-holding down roller 31) for recovering the stand-regulating sheet S by rolling up, is installed.
