The invention concerns a reconstituted cork stopper for sealing bottles of sparkling or non-sparkling wine, made for the greater part from pure powder cork and natural rubber latex vulcanised with sulphur and coagulated with tartaric acid. The material produced in extruded strips capable of being cut up into stoppers or stopper rings.
