PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head device capable of saving labor of peeling off a ventilation hole film and of surely and adequately exposing a ventilation hole to the open air. SOLUTION: This print head device comprises an ink cartridge 3 a supplying hole film 26 and a ventilation hole film 34 for sealing an ink supplying hole 23 and a ventilation hole 30, respectively and a print head unit 10 having a hole needle 42 communicating with a print head 41 to which the ink cartridge 3 is detachably loaded. The print head unit 10 comprises a pushing member 46 for pushing the temporarily loaded ink cartridge to be loaded to the print head device. The print head device is equipped with an exposing member 51 that breaks the ventilation hole film 34 to expose the ventilation hole 30 to the open air prior to breaking of the supplying hole film 26 by the head needle 42 along with the pushing operation by the pushing member 46. |
