PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly attach/detach a die to/from a die holder irrespective of the variance of a cylinder and the variance of the drawing regulation. SOLUTION: In a die attaching/detaching method to attach/detach a die to/from a die fitting hole of a die holder in a condition where the die is held in the vertical condition by an eject member which is vertically movable by a lower die pusher cylinder 49 in the die holder and a die press-down member which is vertically movable by an upper die pusher cylinder, the eject member is pushed up by the lower die pusher 49 with the force smaller than the press- down force by the upper die pusher cylinder in fitting the die to the die fitting hole.
