A SEPARATELY EXCITED DC MOTOR CONTROLLER AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A separately exited controller and a method for controlling the same are provided to embody various functions by controlling independently a field driver and an armature driver. CONSTITUTION: A micro controller(100) recognizes a value of volume resistance loaded on a port box(200) and digitalizes the value. A D/A converter(290) coverts the digitalized value to an analog signal. An armature driver(310) is driven by a triangle wave of a carrier(300) of 15KHz loading the analog signal. A current sensor(270) detects a current of the armature driver(310) according to the amount of load and outputs the detected current to the micro controller(100). The micro controller(100) digitalizes the detected current and outputs the digitalized current to the D/A converter(290). The D/A converter(290) coverts the digitalized value to an analog signal. A field driver(220) is driven by a triangle wave of a carrier(230) of 15KHz loading the analog signal.
