PURPOSE: A method for servicing a designated time in a satellite communication system is provided to continuously perform a designated time service function until a subscriber gives a predetermined cancellation command relating to the designated time service function. CONSTITUTION: A processor periodically retrieves service subscribers, and retrieves whether a corresponding service time is set up. If so, the processor compares the service time with a present time to decide whether the two times are the same. The processor outputs a ring signal to a subscriber to which the service time and the present time are equal. If the subscriber is in an off hook state while the ring signal is outputted, the processor outputs a designated time service announcing message, and stands by whether a predetermined cancellation confirm function key is inputted from the subscriber. If the cancellation confirm function key is not inputted until a predetermined time elapses, the processor changes the service time of the subscriber to set up the changed service time.
