PURPOSE: A method for coating the material for preventing Doming of a shadow mask is provided to prevent forming of a layed portion and to prevent generation of being clogged of a hole or reduction of the hole. CONSTITUTION: In a method for coating the material for preventing Doming of a shadow mask, a fixing tool(8), a mask frame(7), a shadow mask(2), a supporter(9), an electrode(10) and an electrodeposition tube(11) are included. The fixing tool(8) is attached on the mask frame(7) of the shadow mask(2) and is formed on the supporter(9) in the electrodeposition tube(11). The electrode(10) is installed with opposing the mask frame(7) and the shadow mask(2) and the both ends, with which the mask frame(7) of the electrode(10) is contacted, are insulated. The mask frame(7) is installed without soaking in the electrodeposition liquid.
