A dental material consists of an unfired mixture of 30-70% of reinforcing refractory particles sized between <200m and <10m , of titania, alumina, zirconia, singly or together, with a matrix forming material of felspar, borosilicate glass or a dental porcelain. The material is shaped and fired at 850-1400 DEG C. in air or in vacuo to fuse the matrix material without affecting the reinforcing material. |
