It is possible also to prepare other food products in the form of slices and/or doses of semi-liquid products mounting on bread, edible bases of pressed products or trays, such as various sandwiches, "San Jacobos" (cheese- filled escalopes), "San Marinos", escalopes, etc., having for this purpose a bench which supports a horizontal frame 3 with alternating (reciprocating) to-and-fro movement on which are mounted various cutting heads which are offset longitudinally and defined by rotary circular cutters. The bar-shaped products 13 contained in vertical loaders 2, 16, 22 are cut into slices which are collected on the lower conveyor belt 15 in a superposed or overlapping arrangement with the previous slices, selectively. There are other posts 29 for supplying doses of injected or poured product in bulk. The vertical loaders 2, 16, 22 can be adjusted in the three perpendicular directions, having corrugated walls to reduce friction, and their section may be varied to adjust the dimensions of the bar- shaped product.
