A HORIZONTAL EXCAVATOR FOR OBTAINING THE UNDERGROUND WATER

PURPOSE: An underground water sampling excavator is provided to realize efficient sampling of underground water and to promote construction and economical efficiency by improving work conditions. CONSTITUTION: An underground water sampling excavator comprises: a fixing bed(1) horizontally installed on the inner wall of an excavated underground water collecting well(5), and having a pair of guide rails installed parallel; a transfer frame(2) placed at the upper portion of the guide rails to move forwardly and backwardly by a forward and backward moving unit; an excavating propulsion shaft(3) rotated forwardly and backwardly by a driving unit to pass compressed air supplied in high pressure; and an excavating unit(4) excavating by hitting a hard rock layer with the compressed air and the propulsive force of the propulsion shaft. By excavating deep horizontal water sampling holes(6) communicated with an aquifer, large quantity excellent quality underground water is sampled into the underground water collecting well via the horizontal water sampling holes. According to organic operation of respective components, excavation is performed efficiently.
