METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS FOR STRONG-ARM BOARD

PURPOSE: The method of diagnosing the failure of a strong-ARM is provided to reduce the time and cost required for the examination of the board by taking the close examination in the error part. CONSTITUTION: The strong-ARM board largely comprises the strong-ARM board section(1) and the strong-ARM board failure diagnosis section(2). The strong-ARm board section composes of the CPU module which has a strong-ARM micro processor(3), of the memory module(4), of the graphic controller module(5) which has the chip called VIOC(Video Input Output Control module), of the I/O module(6) which has the chip called IOMD, and of the diagnosis display module(7) which embeds the diagnosis program and the ROM test data. Responding to those module, the CPU diagnosis module(8), the memory failure diagnosis module(9), the graphic controller failure diagnosis module(10), and the I/O failure diagnosis module(11) exist in the strong-ARM board failure diagnosis section(2).
