PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a silver-coated high temperature conduction compound material of Bi series is provided to improve a critical current density and reduce a sausaging effect by using a metal tube of a double layer. CONSTITUTION: A metal tube has a double layer including an outer layer formed with a pure silver and an inner layer formed with an alloy of a silver. A powder of a silver-coated high temperature conduction compound material of Bi series is filled into the metal tube. The metal tube is imprinted and pressed to form a shape of tape. A heating process for the metal tube of tape shape is performed. The metal tube of tape shape is pressed again. The heating process for the metal tube of tape shape is performed again.
