PURPOSE: Provided is a method for supporting an active material on an electrode plate for a battery by attaching nonwoven fabric to the upper and lower surfaces of a coated electrode plate in a coating process. CONSTITUTION: The active material is supported on the electrode plates(105,108) by attaching the nonwoven fabric(110) to the upper and lower surfaces of the coated electrode plates by using nonwoven fabric wound rollers in the coating process, wherein the coated electrode plate is produced by coating a mesh-type substrate(106) with an active material, followed by performing a maturing process and a fabricating process.
