Method for the manufacture of combustible briquettes. The method comprises mixing a cellulose material, such as wood sawdust, and two different types of complex combinations of hydrocarbons in the liquid state, in a ratio of approximately between 1:1 and 2:3, subsequently mixing in an extrusion press, obtaining a combustible compact briquette with a high calorific value and low gas emission, and with a low output of ash and smoke during combustion. The briquettes obtained can be used in a forestry or agricultural, industrial or domestic context.
