PURPOSE: A center member mounting structure for the engine mount of a vehicle absorbs an impact on the collision of the vehicle, thereby securing the safety of a driver. CONSTITUTION: If a collision accident occurs on the driving of a vehicle, the head lamp support side is pushed into an engine room. A center member(3) us pushed rearward. At the moment, one end of the center member(3) engaged with a lower surface of the center portion of a dash panel(9) is moved backward from a vehicle body after overcoming the connection force of a bolt(19) through an opening(17) of the dash panel(9). Then, a connected portion being got out of the opening(17) is separated downwards. Therefore, an engine separated from an engine room absorbs an impact by being distorted on the separated state.
