PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL DRIVING CIRCUIT AND ITS DRIVING METHOD

PURPOSE: A driving circuit for a plasma display panel and a driving method thereof is provided to simplify an output terminal and to minimize a cost by preserving the ground potential. CONSTITUTION: A scan electrode driving part(16) controls a driving of a scan electrode. A bidirectional shift register(121) inputs into a clock(CLK) which is supplied to the bidirectional shift register(121). A latch(122) stores a signal outputting in the bidirectional shift register(121). A control logic(123) controls the last output, when the signal is input in the latch(122). A plurality of high voltage output part(128) applies a high voltage to a scan line according as the signal state is input from the control logic(123). when the clock(CLK) is applied at the outside, a DIR' signal inputting into the bidirectional shift register(121) is upward and downward shifted. A shifted signal is input into the latch(122), then output by the latch in able signal. The control logic(123) receives the output of the latch(122) and then controls and outputs it.
