The flow regulator has a frame (26) defining a hole (22) that allows flow of a liquid. A slide (34) moves up and down in the frame in front of the hole. The slide is controlled by a float (40) mounted on an arm (46) and floating on the surface of the liquid. The arm is mounted on a pivot and linked (48) to an arm (50) attached to the slid, so the hole is made smaller as the liquid level rises.
