PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly workability and sealing ability by clarifying a manufacturing method of a seal ring having high shape return characteristics. SOLUTION: A cylindrical material S1 having an outside diameter L1 smaller than the outside diameter L of aimed specifications is spirally cut to form a coiled material S2. A shaft 3 is inserted on the inside diameter of the coiled material S2 and set to an outside diameter L being aimed specifications. Cutting is effected such that a cut is formed at least in one spot on the periphery of the coiled material S2 in which the shaft 3 is inserted. |
